It's not pretty when I'm being neurotic. In fact, it's downright ugly.
Plus, I have a head cold so I've done NOTHING this weekend but sleep and hang out on the couch. My idle mind, is a baaaad thing. By the way, I think I have a cold because I took the damn Medrol for the supposed assisted hatching that never took place, and I think Medrol is supposed to compromise your immune system. Plus, it might have something to do with the ten thousand germy kids that I came in contact with this week.
BTW, normally I'd reach for some Tylenol Sinus right about now, but instead I reached for my netti pot. Not quite as effective, but better than nothing.
My neurotic thoughts as of late...
- Every single time I've done IVF I've gotten pregnant. What if it's negative?
- I had the whole low blood sugar hunger this morning. Maybe I'm pregnant. Or, maybe I just ate dinner too early.
- With IVF's #1&2 I had implantation bleeding by now. With the FET I did not. I don't have that now. Maybe I'm not pregnant.
For once I am pleased with Anthem Healthkeepers. Here's why:
I went to the pharmacy yesterday to pick up some more Lovenox. When I bought it last week I only had 12 prefilled syringes. Retail was something like $450, and my copay was $50. The nurse fixed my script and now I have a three month's supply, so I think it was 90 prefilled syringes. Retail was something like $1,875, and still my copay was $50. Awesome.
I also bought a 3 pack of FRER HPT's, tums, more prenatal vitamins, and a bag of those Haribo gummy rasperries. I regret not buying chocolate of some sort.
HPT Tuesday or Wednesday. Not sure yet. Stay tuned.

Make your man go get you some chocolate! I am so glad the lovonex refill was better!
That is awesome about Lov.enox, my insurance is normally great but for prescription stuff it stinks - my monthly cost was 3K hence the switch to heparin.
Hope the shots are going well. :)
Don't let the lack of implantation worry you. I had implantation bleeding with my son, but not with this pregnancy. Yay for good insurance!
Praying for a positive.
sorry you are not feeling well...i got stir crazy too after too long. hope the remaining wait is not too hard on you. oh and i LOVE those haribo raspberries too, delish!
I am SO with you on the waiting (um, aren't we all?). I was in such a zen state of mind until this morning .. woke up thinking all about whether I am preggers & couldn't go back to sleep. *$#*!!! There really should be a way to turn our brains off.
Crossing all my appendages for you!
Yay for prescription coverage! The waiting blows! Hope the days pass quickly!
thinking of you. best of luck!
Everything that can be crossed is crossed for you. Hoping it's your turn!!
Hope the head cold eases up soon!
Yay for the nurse changing the script!
Crossing everything that this is it for you!
Don't underestimate the neti pot! Those things can be a wonder (they are helping me with the pregnancy sinuses a lot!). I always had implantation spotting with my 2 prior miscarried pregnancies...this one I didn't have any spotting at all....so you never know. I drive myself crazy with the hpts too and test daily from pretty much 1dpt, pathetic right?
BTW, the medrol can also help a lot with implantation, so its probably good you did it anyway. My only 2 mostly successful cycles were the only 2 where i was on medrol. Good luck. Hang in there!!!
I hope you find something that keeps you busy. I know wait is torture!! Blessings
You crack me up. I love those raspberries, they're the best. I wish you had gotten some chocolate too, it seems necessary. Yay for the $50 copay, that is awesome. I've still got my fingers crossed and I'm still antsy for this cycle for you!
*hugs*
I hope you somehow get distracted by something fantastic until you can start testing. Hang in there!
If you really run out of things to do, google "le ptit bal perdu" and watch whatever pops up on youtube. No, it's not european porn. It's just groovy in a cirque du soleil way, although without the acrobatics. My daughter's modern-dance instructor showed it to them. (Lots of funky arts education in the fancy new private school.)
Can't wait for the peeing!
GUMMIES!!! Good choice! I am a fan although I do agree that a little chocolate in the house is a nice thing.
Hang in there.
Hope your cold is feeling better today - and yay for only one or two more days to wait before testing. Keeping everything crossed for you.
Fingers and everything else crossed!
fingers crossed, big time!
I feel your pain. I am a horrible at waiting. Totally neurotic and literally drive myself crazy. Sending peaceful and positive thoughts!!! You can do this! You can make it to testing day!
Crossing all my crossables! Awesome About the love.nox!!
Thinking about you and wondering if you have POAS? Lots of positive thoughts!!!!!
It's Tuesday!
