Stim Day 6: 2nd Monitoring Appointment

Unimpressed. That's how I feel. Kind of disappointed too. Still six follicles on the left under 10mm, 2 follicles on the right around 12mm, and some under 10mm.

They were so unimpressed that I don't even have to go in tomorrow. Not good.

I asked if that was bad, and the nurse was all... well you are kind of slow getting started, but I'm sure they will catch up soon.

Mkay.

Still 450iu GonalF, 30iu low dose hcg.

Start Ganerelix tomorrow.

I have an appointment on Sunday.

Ugh.

Try not to look to far ahead. We have both figured out you cannot plan anything in this battle.

You can do this. You truly can.

Gah. I am thinking slow steady progress and that they will be where they need to be. Keeping it all crossed.

Slow and steady is a good thing. The follicles seem to be growing at an even rate and that's excellent.

Here's to a nice growth spurt over the next couple of days.

Oh PJ, I know how hard stimming can be. I always got so jealous of those who stimmed so easily. This was always the hardest part of the journey for me and I know it has been for you too. Cycles can be crazy at this point and still end in a take home baby. I know this. Don't give up! I know the disappointment. Hang in there. It's not over yet by any means. Slow and steady wins the race right? One day at a time. . . any more positive sayings I can throw your way?

Oh boy do I feel your pessimism... I went in to my appt today & they can't even measure my follies yet. It's so disheartening even though it doesn't necessarily 'mean' anything .. yet. Try to hold on!!! Sending lots of positive vibes for you. :)

Those follies can do some major catching up growing. I hope yours do. Good luck on Sunday.

Slow and steady isn't the worst thing in the world - it just makes you nervous for longer. I hope Sunday's appointment shows some good growth - I'll be thinking growing thoughts for you!
